Who we are

Tonmark Drylining Ltd (company number 05800648, registered in England and Wales) is the data controller for personal information collected through this website. We operate from Chafford Hundred, Grays, Essex.

What we collect

When you send a quote request we collect what you enter in the form:

your name, phone number and email address;
the project postcode or town;
details of the job — the service, scale, timing, rooms or package, and your message;
your company name, if you are enquiring as a builder or contractor.

If you email, phone or message us directly, we keep what you send, including any photos or drawings. We don’t ask for, and you shouldn’t send, sensitive information such as health details or bank details through the website.

Why we use it, and our lawful basis

To reply to your enquiry, visit and quote. You asked us to, so we rely on taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
To carry out the work if you go ahead. This is necessary to perform our contract with you.
To keep business and tax records. We must do this by law.

We do not sell your information, add you to a mailing list, or send marketing you didn’t ask for.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers to run this website and our inbox. They handle your information only to provide their service to us:

Web3Forms receives the quote form and forwards it to our inbox. It may keep a copy for a limited period under its own retention settings.
Google (Gmail) hosts our email inbox.
Cloudflare hosts this website and, like any web host, processes technical data such as your IP address to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse.

Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, they rely on safeguards recognised under UK data protection law, such as adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses.

Otherwise we share your details only where needed to do your job — for example, with a supplier delivering materials to site — or where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that don’t go ahead: deleted within 3 months of our last contact.
Customer and job records: kept for 6 years after the work finishes, to meet tax and accounting obligations, then deleted.

Cookies

This website does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and does not set cookies of its own. If that ever changes, we’ll update this notice and ask for your consent before any non-essential cookie is set.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us to:

give you a copy of the information we hold about you;
correct anything that’s wrong or incomplete;
delete your information, where we no longer need to keep it;
restrict how we use it, or object to our using it;
send it to you, or to someone else, in a common digital format.

Complaints

If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK’s data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.
